CAMP! Prescott, Arizona

I got to spend the a day up in Prescott with the 4-6th grade kids camp. The same camp that my sister and I went to as kids, and now my niece got to experience the fun for the first time. I can’t wait for my own kids to go, it really is so much fun! I only got to spend the day there, but here are a few pictures from that day.

Summer is here!

Although I know that summer isn’t officially here, we are in Arizona and it has felt like summer this past two months. The kids are out of school and all the summer fun is starting. Here are a few pictures that scream summer to me.

Day trip thru Arizona

Though I have lived here all my life, there are certain parts of Arizona that I have never been. Or really have never paid attention as we are passing through. So it was a nice day to go exploring with my friend Carla, and hike under Burro Creek Bridge and explore the Joshua Trees. We were very watchful of rattlesnakes on our hike, but it turns out the only thing we would run into was a cow. The sunset was especially beautiful casting a beautiful light on the Joshua Trees. Here are just a few pictures from that day.

Limerick, Ireland

At this time last week I was in Limerick, Ireland with 16 other people from CCV. We were there to visit and help our friends from Elevate. Since I’m not great with words, I’ll share my experience through my pictures. I will say, though, that I feel so blessed by the people that I encountered and the friendships that were made. God gives us opportunities all the time to meet new people and to step out of our comfort zone. I’m glad I took Him up on that opportunity.

Christmas Mini-sessions 2013, Phoenix, Arizona

Every year Christmas rolls around I get excited about doing my Christmas mini-sessions. I get to see kids that I photographed from the year before and meet new (and awesome) people. And this year I met some pretty amazing families. I love that I get to meet people that I would not normally encounter on a day-to-day basis. I also love that these are pictures that they will look back on when the kids are all grown. Hopefully some will end up hung on the walls, or made it into the family christmas card, or was gifted to a grandparent or loved one. Here are some of my favorites from this Christmas. The last one being of my three kiddos.:)
