Durango, Colorado

Every year we take an extended family vacation to San Diego, California. This year we decided to try something different and headed to Durango, Colorado. We couldn’t have gone at a better time as the temperatures in Phoenix were up in the 115 range, and the temperature in Durango was around a chilly 75. We fished and went horseback riding. We swam in the hot springs and visited a dude ranch. We hiked and searched for bigfoot. We even took a jeep tour up to tree line elevation and got to play in the snow. Colorado is a beautiful place – it almost looks like an oil painting with all it’s colors and gorgeous skies. It was a vacation that my children will never forget, and I’m so grateful that they got to experience it. Here are a few pictures and highlights from the trip:
