The Camping Scene

The kids had their first camping experience this past weekend. It was a fun family experience that none of us will forget. But I will say the next time we go will have to involve indoor plumbing and a heated cabin to sleep in. Waking up in bone-chilling temperatures about put me over the edge. But ironically, the kids all three slept through it like they were cozy¬†in their warm beds at home. You don’t realize how much you appreciate your warm bed and modern conveniences until you sleep in the woods overnight. And we were there less than 24 hours (pathetic, I know). Anyway, here are some pictures of their first camping trip.

I found three vicious bears in the tent.

Ellie Dillon Neat pictures….looks like the kids had fun and I’m sure they will remember it for a long time. But I’m with you, next time a heated cabin and indoor plumbing would be much better!!!

Vicki Looks like fun! The photo of Brody walking alone is my fave.

Jill Velicer Photography I totally get what you mean – cold and a lot of work … but sort of fun too. But I agree with the heated cabin and plumbing! lol Love your pictures as always!!

Jessica LOVE these!!! I can’t remember the last time I went camping and have never gone as a family…this is inspiring me to try it out sometime (my husband is NOT a camper…so I will have to talk him into it!)!
