Riley turns 7

My niece Riley recently turned 7. I still can not believe that she is seven. I remember when she was born (which seems like just yesterday) and I remember what a smart and active toddler she was. She could snap her fingers by the time she was one year old. My twins are four and can’t do that. There are some adults I know that can’t even snap. She was always so active and I remember when she would come to our house and I would baby-sit her, our cats would run for cover and not come out for hours until after she left – ha ha. She is sharp as a whip too. Sometimes she will bring up memories she has from a few years ago and I have to think long and hard to resurface those memories. I am ‘Jo Jo’ to her, and she will say things like “Jo Jo, remember that time you tripped when we were at Disneyland and you fell down?” Why yes Riley, thank you for reminding me ;). She is full of spirit and laughter and emotion. She will grow up to know what she wants to do in life and she will be full of passion about it. She is just like her mom and has her personality, but she looks just like her daddy. She is very special to me and I’m so happy to call her my niece. Here are a few pictures from an afternoon where we quickly walked around to get a few pictures.
