I’m not sure why we buy expensive toys when a cardboard box like this will keep my kids busy for hours. I love it. It reminds me of when I was a kid and we would get a hold of an old refrigerator box. We’d cut holes for windows, make a door in the front, and draw house numbers on it. I much prefer that they exercise their imagination and play with old boxes than with any of their other toys. I do get a bit concerned when they want to close all the flaps and sit inside with no air circulating. But it does keep them quiet, so who am I to complain.

PS – that is not Kat’s stuffed puppy dog, however she has named him ‘Cupcake’. If this is your dog, and you are reading this, let me know. We will return him asap. For a small reward, of course. ;).

stephanie so fun!

Vicki First off, that is not our puppy dog… What great pictures. I remember playing in appliance boxes when I was little also. They provided hours of imaginative entertainment.

Paula I’m with you – a creative mind will take them a long way in life! These pictures are creating smiles and giggles for me! Xo
